The SSB-118 modules
can be plugged in-line with another USB device and by on-board
relays connect and remove the USB signals from the device. One relay
controls the two power lines (VCC & GND), another controls the two
USB signal lines. This allows the user to turn up to two USB devices
on and off without removing the cable.
The relay module programming interface is easy to use from Visual Basic,
C#, J#, Visual C++ or other applications
via a standard windows DLL or a managed Class Library with sample source included. Any
programming language that supports calls to Windows DLL or Class
Library can also be
used. Each module has an unique serial number string which allows multiple
USB devices to be controlled by the host USB controller as
individual devices. |
