The RIC343 USB four (4) ea SPDT 8 Amp relays that have one of two configurations. COM configuration has the four (4) Normally Closed (NC) relay outputs connected together going to a single
terminal connection point, and the four (4) Normally Open (NO) relay outputs connected together to a single terminal connectior point. The four (4) relay Common outputs (COM) go to seperate
terminal connection points. The NC configuration has the four (4) relay Common outputs (COM) connected together going to a single terminal connection points, and the NO and NC go to seperate
connection points. Both options reduces the number of wires required to be made. There are two options for optically isolated inputs for connections to user devices such as sensors or switches.
One option 3 optically isolated input, one that detects the presents of a DC signal across the NC and NO terminals, the other 2 detects user supplied switch closures to the NO signal. The
second options provides for 4 unique optically isolated inputs. The inputs senses DC voltage that can be read from the host PC, while providing full isolation. This eliminates surges present
in industrial environments from effecting the host PC. The board size and mounting holes support using the WM031 or WM051 series of cases from Serpac.
Any programming language that supports calls to Windows DLL can also be used to control the module. The software interface is easy to use from Visual Basic,
Visual C# Visual C++ via a standard windows DLL with sample source included. Each module has an unique serial number string which allows multiple USB boards to be controlled by
the host USB controller as individual USB devices. Click on blue tabs above to view other information about the module.

The module utilizes a custom function driver optimized for a maximum device functions and data throughput. Windows driver provided supports Windows 2000/XP/Vista/Windows7 for both 32bit and 64bit systems. The user API interface to the driver is via standard window DLL's both as a managed class library and older standard DLL. The CD contains sample programs and source code in Visual Basic, Visual C++, Visual C# for Windows. Third party support includes a Windows standard DLL interface usable from the most popular application programs and includes LabVIEW, MS Office, and MathLab. | USB Connector |
| The industrial/military marketplace has driven the need for USB connections to be reliable, dependable, and unfailing. Used in all of our USB products is a type B USB connector which features a high retention design. This connector complies with the class 1, Div II minimum withdrawal requirement of over 3 pounds of force (15 Newtons). The connectors orange color-coded insulator differentiates it from standard USB connectors. |
