Software Interface |
| The following DLL functions provide an interface between the user application and the JSB815 USB LCD Control module. These functions can be called by any high level language or third party software that supports standard windows DLL calling convention. Software provided with the JSB815 module includes the DLL, USB Windows 98/ME/2000/XP driver, sample application source code for VisualBasic and VisualC++. |

| LcdGetNumOfModules | Returns the number of JSB815 Modules that are currently attached to the USB |
| LcdGetSerialNumOfModule | Returns a ascii string that is the serial number of the request JSB815 module. The serial number is a unique value assigned to all module, that allow multiple modules to be controlled. |
| LcdInit | Sets up the JSB815 for the type of LCD module attached |
| LcdFlashModuleLed | Flashes the LED on the module. |
| LcdClearDisplay | Clears the attached LCD displays |
| LcdClearLine | Clears the LCD line |
| LcdClearChar | Clears a character location |
| LcdWrtChar | Write a character at a given location |
| LcdWrtLine | Writes a text line |
| LcdReplaceChar | Replaces a character at a given location. |
| LcdAppendLine | Append text to a given line. |
| LcdCursorMode | Sets the cursor mode |
| LcdDisplayOn | Turns the display on or off |
| LcdBackspace | Backspace |
| LcdWrtReg | Low level routine that writes directly to a HD44780 controller register. |
