Overview

The JSB-731 provides a low cost programmable I/O modules that connects to a host computer via a standard USB 2.0 port.  The on-board FPGA can be downloaded from the full speed USB port and also has local flash EPROM storage on the module. Up to 48 bits of I/O from a Xilinx FPGA is available on two 50 pin connectors. A 50 MHz clock source is provide to the FPGA. The module can be operated from a powered USB port, or for more demanding current requirements external power can be supplied.

The module programming interface is easy to use from Visual Basic, C#, J#, Visual C++ or other applications via a standard windows DLL or a managed Class Library with sample source included.  Any programming language that supports calls to Windows DLL or Class Library can also be used. Each module has an unique serial number string which allows multiple USB devices to be controlled by the host USB controller as individual devices.
