The JSB-340 USB Small Form Opto Isolator In / Relay (SPDT) Out module provides 4 optically isolated inputs for connection to user devices such as sensors or switches. The inputs sense DC voltage that can be read from the host PC, while providing optical isolation, which eliminates surges present in industrial environments from effecting the host PC. The 2 or 4 SPDT relays outputs provide host control between a common line and normally open and close connection point. Standard module has on board terminal block (screw type) connections. Optional Molex KK series of 2 piece pluggable connectors available. The JSB340 Opto Isolated IO interface is easy to use from Visual Basic and Visual C++ via a standard windows DLL with sample source included. Any programming language that supports calls to Windows DLL can also be used to control the opto isolator. Each module has an unique serial number string which allows multiple USB boards to be controlled by the host USB controller as individual USB devices. |
