Hardware Overview |
|
The JSB-336 USB Opto In / Relay SPDT Out (opto io) board provides 8 or 16 optically isolated inputs for connection to user devices such as sensors or switches. The inputs sense DC voltage that can be read from the host PC, while providing optical isolation, which eliminates surges present in industrial environments from effecting the host PC. The 8 relays SPDT outputs provide host control between a common line and normally open and close connection point. The relay interface is easy to use from Visual Basic and Visual C++ via a standard windows DLL with sample source included. Any programming language that supports calls to Windows DLL can also be used. Each module has an unique serial number string which allows multiple USB boards to be controlled by the host USB controller as individual devices. |
